TechTalentRank operates the assessment platform at techtalentrank.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

Account holders (recruiters/employers): Name, email address, company name, billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

Applicants: First name, last name, and email address provided by the account holder who sends the invitation. Quiz responses, scores, time spent per question, and tab-switch events during the assessment.

All visitors: Standard server logs including IP address and browser user-agent, used for rate limiting and security.

• To deliver and operate the Service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (assessment invitations, account verification, password resets)
• To generate assessment results for the account holder who sent the invitation
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse

We do not use applicant data to train machine learning models or sell it to third parties.

We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Neon — managed database hosting
• Netlify — application hosting

We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

Account holder data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to satisfy legal obligations. Applicant assessment data is retained as long as the associated account exists. You may request deletion at any time.

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in to your dashboard. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@techtalentrank.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use HTTPS for all data in transit and store passwords using bcrypt hashing. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. No security measure is perfect; we will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify account holders by email of any material changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
